Yuba Supermarche Pendix electric motor conversion
Marisa is a keen and strong cyclist who had been wanting to get a cargo bike for errands, carrying shopping and her 3 year old. She still wanted some exercise but knew she would need some electric help to really get some serious use out of a cargo bike.
After chatting with her, we could see that a better ride was more important than more power. We costed up a few bikes and we found that the Pendix kit was an economical way for Marisa to get the power she needed but with a super comfortable ride she wanted from the Yuba Supermarché.
Marisa was stoked with her new custom Supermarché and it rides really nicely, with a full gear range available as the triple front chainring can be retained when using the Pendix motor.
