Love your Brompton but looking for some electric help on those long commutes or hilly routes? The German-designed and made Pendix mid-drive is the answer. This price is fully fitted in our Melbourne workshop. The price includes all parts needed to turn to your existing Brompton bike into an electric Brompton.

The motor system

With 65 Nm torque, the Pendix eDrive is a very simple and powerful mid-drive e-bike conversion kit for your Brompton folding bike. It is fully legal in Australia, silent in operation and very simple to fit with very few cables to worry about.

The range under motor is approx 60-100km depending on terrain.

With the updated Pendix.bike PRO App you can decide for yourself whether you want the full motor support or whether you need the maximum range for your tour. The Pendix system is deliberately simple to operate with a dial on the battery to choose which mode you want. More complex changes are made through the smartphone app. This new function called “Drive Profiles” and allows you to select a range of customised settings to suit your riding style(s). With a full bluetooth integration from the battery to the Pendix.bike PRO App you can use your existing phone as a dashboard to display speed, battery health, range and even distance you’ve travelled.

There is a choice of batteries between either the lightweight 300Wh or the bigger 500Wh for additional range. The kit is currently on sale so price is the same for both batteries. Choose the 300Wh if you need the lightest solution and don’t mind a reduced range. The battery is a 48 Volt system and the kit has a two year warranty.
