The new motor generation – eDrive

With 65 Nm torque,  the Pendix eDrive is a very simple and powerful mid-drive ebike conversion kit. It is fully legal in Australia, silent in operation and very simple to fit with very few cables to worry about.

With the updated Pendix.bike PRO App you can decide for yourself whether you want the full motor support or whether you need the maximum range for your tour. The Pendix system is deliberately simple to operate with a dial on the battery to choose which mode you want. More complex changes are made through the smartphone app. This new function called “Drive Profiles” and allows you to select a range of customised settings to suit your riding style(s). With a full bluetooth integration from the battery to the Pendix.bike PRO App  you can use your existing phone as a dashboard to display speed, battery health, range and even distance you’ve travelled.

There is a choice of batteries between either the lightweight 300Wh or the bigger 500Wh for additional range. With a higher 48 Volt output there is plenty of power and capacity on offer.

Easily switch between the three modes – Eco (+75% power), Smart (+150% power) and Sports (+ 200% power) while on the go.

The system comes with two lengths of cable (500mm and 950mm) between the motor and battery location. This is a hard wired lead so contact us for advice on which would best suit your needs.

The kit comes with the motor kit, plus the selected battery.

Pendix also offer a tube clamp kit to mount the battery if you do not have bottle bosses on the frame.

You may also require a front chain ring(s) if your existing one is not compatible (104BCD – 4 bolt)

Installation

We recommend that you have the Pendix eDrive installed by an authorised dealer in Australia. The dealer will also check the condition of your bike and its compatibility with the drive system. This guarantees you good advice and a safe conversion with a full 2 year warranty. There are a few specialist tools required for fitting. The dealer will also test and program the system to suit your bike wheel size. Our recommended fitting fee is $300.
