We’re looking for an enthusiastic and sociable person to work part-time in our East Brunswick shop (Thursdays and Saturdays plus occasional cover days) selling our amazing range of
Cargo bikes and E-bikes.
The Cargocycles team are enthusiastic and passionate about supporting people of all abilities and cycling experience to make riding a part of their everyday lives!
We’re looking for someone who can relate to our diverse range of customers -— inner north locals, mums, dads and families with kids and dogs, as well as older cyclists and people with disabilities who want to use bikes as a transport alternative or just for fun. Personal experience in this would be perfect!
The successful applicant should be:
– able to work Saturdays
– a keen cyclist
– have some mechanical knowledge or a willingness to learn
– have a strong customer service focus
– have some retail experience
– willing to work as part of a team
– able to pack orders and help with workshop duties
– friendly, approachable and conscientious
– someone who likes kids and dogs
The position is perfect for someone returning to work, or needs to work around other commitments. Hours can be semi-flexible to suit the right applicant.
