This week we launched our new custom delivery trailer which the guys in the shop are using to deliver bikes to customers in the local or Melbourne metro area.
Less-expensive and more environmentally-friendly than a van or truck the trailer was designed and fabricated by our own legendary Metal Michi, the trailer can hold a helluva load and connects to an electric bike with a regular car tow ball fitting. It’s full HD.
We like to move it!
Inspired by bike only moving companies in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Canada and Sweden we will be trialling local house moves with the trailer in the future.
Of course, moving by bike wouldn’t suit a big family house move or long-distances – but, is ideal for city dwellers, students or for anyone getting a couch from a friend or the op-shop.
