As COVID-19 forces everyone to keep their distance and reassess their commuting to work options, there has been a surge in cycling in Melbourne and other cities around the world. Cycling is essential transport – we want to help get you to work safely by bike, help you deliver food for your cafe or restaurant and save your sanity and keep you healthy too. We appreciate your support and we are trying our hardest to keep our small business going.

With stage 3 restrictions now in effect, we ask you and all our valued customers to adhere to the following:

  • Maximum 4 customers in the store at any time. If there are already 4 customers in store you will be asked to wait outside – please maintain social distancing at all times.
  • Stay in the zone! We have nominated areas for each customer, please follow our instructions for everybody’s safety – so we are still able to keep the shop open.
  • Where possible, please don’t bring large groups into the store. We fully appreciate that our cargo bikes are best tried with passengers and we will do all we can to accommodate, but your help in minimising our exposure (and yours too) would be appreciated.
  • We have handwash stations set up – please use these prior to entering the store.

New pickup/drop-off point at roller door

We have a collection and drop off point set up through our roller doors on Glenlyon Road. Please use this for any enquires, pickups or drop-offs. We should be able to bring anything needed to you, and we can maintain our no social contact requirements.

If we can’t serve you at this point we will invite you to enter the shop. Please avoid touching any items in the store. We have gloves we can provide if required.

If you are wanting to test ride bikes, please call ahead and nominate an approximate time. We can then have the bikes wiped down and ready for you. If you or any family members are feeling unwell, or think you have come into contact with COVID-19 please do not test ride the bikes.

Bike servicing changes

We are running minimal servicing in our workshop. If you have anything urgent that needs attending to, please call the shop before visiting and we can discuss and arrange. If you are bringing your bike in for service please give it a full clean with soapy water. We will wipe down all bikes on arrival but having a clean(er) bike to start with makes our life a lot easier (and safer). If you have a free first 3-month service due we will be honouring all of these for however long is required.

We can deliver

We are setting up a delivery service for nearby customers of fully assembled bikes and can courier out any smaller items. Please contact the shop and we can discuss and arrange. Our webshop is the best place to visit.

Change to our opening hours

We are reducing our opening hours: Monday – Friday from 10 am – 5 pm. and Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm. If you need to visit outside of these hours please contact us and we should be able to arrange a suitable time.
