Bicycle Workshop Mechanic/Technician
We are looking for experienced workshop mechanics to work full-time in our Brunswick East store. A trainee position is also available.
Working with a team of three other mechanics we are looking for proven mechanical skills, along with the ability to manage time and solve problems.
Our bikes are varied, from standard commuters to complex two and three-wheeled cargo beasts. Every day you will encounter new and interesting bikes and challenges.
Many of them are electric and we troubleshoot faults using the latest technical tools from Bosch, Shimano, Brose and others. Training and support will be provided if you are new electric bikes.
Applicants will need to demonstrate having worked in a commercial workshop environment for at least 1-2 years, and be committed to the industry in the long term.
Experience with electric systems / electric bikes would be an advantage, along with a strong interest in the cargo and electric bike space.
Applicants should have strong people skills as they will be working not only with staff but also with customers handling bike services including booking, assessment, and fulfillment.Â
From time to time this role may also be required to help out on the sales floor during busy sales periods. Saturday work may be required on a rolling roster setup and a generous remuneration is on offer for the right candidate.
Applicants will need to have an existing right to work full time in Australia.
Please apply with an up to date CV covering relevant experience, as well as an introductory letter for this position.
Salary is negotiable based on experience.
