Refunds and Returns Policy
Our policy lasts 30 days. After 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition that it was purchased. Rides from the store and back are excluded from this policy only if no damage occurs.
Cargocycles does not offer refunds for a change of mind or if a customer refuses replacement of any faulty electrical components.
Cargocycles stocks bicycles, e-bikes and kits from well-known quality brands and our warranty policy is based on the manufacturer’s policy, in general a warranty period of two years applies on all electrical components and one year on the bicycle.
Warranty does not include general wear and tear or any damage caused by the customer. Cargocycles has a workshop for electrical repairs and will be more than happy to repair bikes. If the repairs are deemed under warranty there will be no charge. General bike maintenance such as brake or gear adjustments do not fall under warranty but Cargocycles and will be charged accordingly.
Cargocycles will refund any hire fee if a Cargocycle bike is deemed to have failed mechanically during the hire period. This does not include damage to the bike caused by the hirer or any mechanical failure due to misuse or inappropriate use of the bike.
Each hire is accompanied with a fact sheet about the particular model which includes how to care for the bike whilst it is in your possession. A failure to read this fact sheet or follow it’s instructions will void any refund offer made by Cargocycles.
Cargocycles will endeavour to do everything we can to make your ride a memorable and pleasurable one.
